Are you really available 24/7, or is that an answering service?
A person answers, at any hour, and it is someone local who knows the service area. There is no overnight call center taking a message for a callback in the morning. If you are dealing with an active emergency at 3 AM, you will be talking to somebody who can tell you what to do in the next two minutes and dispatch a truck.
Do you charge extra for nights, weekends, or holidays?
No. There is no overtime surcharge and no travel fee. A Sunday at midnight is billed at the same flat rate as a Tuesday at noon. We do not think you should be penalized on price for when a pipe happened to fail.
What should I do before you arrive?
For water: shut off your main valve, and shut off the water heater too if the leak is on the hot side. For sewage: stop running water anywhere in the house. For gas: leave the building, then call the utility from outside. In all cases, move belongings out of the water path if it is safe to do so. When you call we will walk you through the specifics for your situation.
What actually counts as an emergency?
Water actively running where it should not be, sewage backing up indoors, complete loss of water during a freeze, and any gas odor. Those four get worse quickly. A dripping faucet, a slow drain, a running toilet, or a water heater that is merely underperforming can genuinely wait for a scheduled appointment β and we will tell you that rather than sending someone out at premium urgency.
How fast can you actually get here?
Under 45 minutes within Russellville, and 45 to 60 minutes across most of Pope County. Clarksville and the far north around Hector run closer to 75 minutes. Our base sits near the geographic center of the county, which is what makes those windows realistic rather than aspirational. We will give you an honest number on the call, including if we are already on another job.
Will my insurance cover emergency plumbing damage?
Sudden failures like a burst pipe are frequently covered, while gradual leaks and damage attributable to deferred maintenance often are not. We cannot advise on your specific policy, but we document the failure point, the apparent cause, and the repair clearly β which is what an adjuster asks for and makes the claim conversation substantially shorter.
